Sigenergy Battery Price Australia Guide (2026)

So, standard metro installation – including everything from labour and switchboard upgrades to compliance testing – can add about $1,500 – $3,000 to the hardware bill.

And if you were going to go with a 16 kWh SigenStor stack (modules + hybrid controller + gateway), you’re looking at around $13,000 – $15,000.

Now, what’s worth mentioning is that the federal Cheaper Home Batteries rebate still pays up to $372 per kWh for installs completed before the 1st of May 2026 (dropping to about $300 / kWh thereafter, so you’ve still got time). And on 16 kWh of usable capacity, that is a $5,900 – $6,000 subsidy, which would actually cut your out-of-pocket cost to roughly $9k – $11k.
