Does the Brand Matter?
Efficiency and warranty length aren’t uniform across a Tier-1 badge. A back-contact or other premium N-type cell squeezes more output from the same roof area than an entry PERC module, which counts on a smaller or shaded roof, while a value-tier brand can be the better call on a large, unshaded roof where price per watt matters more than the last few percentage points of efficiency.
