Sigenergy and the SigenStor System
Sigenergy is a newer name in Australian solar, but the team behind it isn’t new to the industry. Every SigenStor stack is built from 6kWh or 8kWh prismatic LFP modules, up to six per tower, so usable capacity runs from a single module to around 48kWh without extra external cabling. The base pairs with either a 5kW single-phase inverter or a 10 to 30kW three-phase inverter, and because the inverter is hybrid, it connects on the DC side to a new solar array or in AC-coupled mode to a system you already have.
Independent lab testing by TÜV Rheinland puts SigenStor’s DC round-trip efficiency at 94-95%, and the modules keep delivering full rated output from -20°C to 60°C. Charge and discharge run at a full 1C rate, so an 8kWh module can supply 8kW of continuous power for a full hour.
