A three-phase inverter that’s suitable for commercial applications, it’s equipped with the SnapINverter mounting system to enable secure and easy installation. How to connect a Fronius Symo inverter to WiFi?

Follow the steps below to connect your Fronius Symo inverter to your home WiFi:

First, confirm you have access to your WiFi network.
Open the menu on the inverter’s display, then open the ‘Setup’ menu.
From here, you can see the WiFi Access Point. Open it.
Start the Fronius WiFi Access Point by hitting ‘Enter’.
Your smartphone now needs to be connected to the Access Point. Once connected, type in the password, then click ‘Join’.
The next step is to open the Fronius Datamanager, which you can do by opening a browser and entering http://192.168.250.181 into the address bar.
After loading the Datamanager, click ‘Settings’, then ‘WiFi Settings’. From a list of available WiFi networks, choose your home WiFi network. Enter the password and save.

Is Fronius Symo battery-ready?

Yes, some types of the Fronius Symo are battery-ready. First is the Fronius Symo Hybrid, which is compatible with the Fronius Solar Battery and other multiple high-voltage battery systems such as BYD or LG Chem. For a more advanced version, there’s the Fronius Symo Gen24 Plus. Even without a battery, it can provide an integrated basic backup power supply through its PV point.
